This years' Fox Soccer International Showcase promised to be the best one to have ever taken place. 235 players in three locations, New York, North Carolina, and the new addition of Los Angeles, had the opportunity to not only get scouted by professional and college scouts, but to learn from top European, American, and English Academy Coaches to enhance their game and take a leap in their development.
The FSA International Showcase was attended by EPL teams Chelsea, Manchester City, Leicester City, Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers. MLS teams Red Bull New York, Charlotte FC, L.A. Galaxy and Los Angeles FC, and 20 college coaches were also on hand to scout players. Several of the scouts and coaches were interested in FSA players and will monitor them as they develop their game. They also provided feedback to the FSA staff about players and asked questions to learn more about them.
“We are extremely proud that these camps benefited our players and helped them grow,” Fuchs said. “They were inspired to work with International trainers and I think the sessions provided them even more insight into the players that they can be.”
Winter Showcase dates will be announced soon.
