From June 25 to 26, 74 players came together to show their talent in front of 13 coaches and scouts from the English Premier League, the Major League Soccer (MLS), top NCAA D1 programs.
Warwick, NY: On June 25 & 26, 2022, Fox Soccer Academy opened its doors to the inaugural Fox Soccer Showcase, an international scouting event for youth soccer players in the heart of the Hudson Valley at Hudson Sports Complex.
The event attracted players from the USA, England, Mexico, and Anguilla, as well as scouts and coaches from the English Premier League (UK), the MLS (Major League Soccer, USA), and several prestigious NCAA Division 1 programs. Over two days, over 70 players showed their best to impress the scouts in attendance for the chance to boost their careers.
Players enjoyed 4 training sessions, a technical and position-specific training session in the mornings, and gameplay in the afternoons of each day.
Coaches from Premier League clubs and NCAA colleges were holding training sessions, gave immediate feedback to players on how to better their game, and made themselves available to give career advice. Recruiting seminars during lunch breaks offered great insights and advice to players and their families on the next steps in their career planning.
The participants included 74 players from the USA, England, Mexico, and Anguilla. The list of scouts included:
